Colony 1×07 Broussard preview

The sixth episode of Colony, opened up with a woman doing yoga in her fancy mansion while the hanging of Luis was shown on TV. She took a phone call where she discussed Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson). Who the woman was and who she spoke to was not revealed. The end of the scene showed a shot of the huge barrier wall.

Back to the end of the previous episode we joined Will (Josh Holloway) as he joined Snyder in his car. Snyder felt that his handling of Luis would prevent people from joining the Resistance. Will wasn’t so sure that Snyder was right and thought it might actually just make people angry.

Once Snyder’s convoy got moving, Broussard (Tory Kittles) killed his fellow Red Hats which kicked off an ambush. The Resistance target was Snyder but that hadn’t planned for Will being there. He’s experienced in these situations and managed to fend off the attack while keeping Snyder safe.

Broussard actually had a chance to take Will out but honoured Quayle’s agreement with Katie that he wouldn’t be harmed. Will and Snyder escaped and the Resistance cleared the area before the drones came. Katie (Sarah Wayne Callies) was keeping track of the elapsed time, knowing from their previous raid it would take around 98 seconds for the drones to show.

Will set to work on getting Snyder somewhere safe and told him that he needed to trust and listen to him. He eventually takes him to the Yonk, Katie’s bar. Will was a little surprised to see that Katie was already there.

Katie helped patch Will up as he’d been hit by some bullet shrapnel. He then headed out to find a pay phone as the line in the Yonk wasn’t working. After he went Katie managed to get a message through to Broussard to tell him that Snyder was there.

She then spent some time talking with Snyder who didn’t seem as bad as she thought. She was hoping that Broussard would come to capture Snyder before Will returned but that didn’t happen. Instead she was left worrying about what would happen when they did turn up. Further complicating things for Katie, Snyder told them he had been working hard to get their son Charlie back.

She was keen for Snyder to be taken but Will was ready for a fight. His aim was to slow down any attackers until Snyder could be evacuated.

Broussard arrived and inspected the building while Snyder and Will kept hidden. Broussard realised that something was wrong so didn’t let on he was Resistance. Before he left he managed to briefly tell Katie that if she couldn’t get Snyder out the back door that they would attack. She almost managed it when Snyder said something to upset her but Will stopped her.

When the attack finally came they conveniently walked in one at a time which made Will’s job easy. He eventually ended up trapped behind the bar but Katie saved him by killing an attacker. Finally Broussard came in and it was him versus Katie. Will diffused the situation by saying that Snyder was hiding in the office.

Broussard went to get him but found the side door open and ran off to find him. What he didn’t know is that Will had stored him in a cupboard behind the bar. When Snyder came out he wanted revenge and the Resistance members found and killed, badly.

At the end of the episode Quayle decided that Katie must be a double agent.

The next episode is Broussard. Will gets closer to uncovering the truth as he continues his hunt for the Resistance. Katie begins to feel cut off from both her family and her cell.
