Following the success of 2015, The Isle of Wight Festival has today revealed 2016 dates. The festival is set to take place between 9th and 12th June 2016 and you can now buy early bird tickets at a discounted rate, which will last till the end of September, that’s 3 months at a discounted rate! You can get your early bird tickets on the Isle of Wight Festival website, which also has details of how to buy the tickets and a brand new payment plan.
In 2015 50,000 festival goers enjoyed headliners such as The Prodigy, The Black Keys, Blur and Fleetwood Mac. IoW also attempted to break a world record of the most people wearing the same mask in the same place in honour of the 45th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s last UK performance in 1970 at the festival. Pharrell Williams was joined by Well Child Award winner, Dylan Bleach for the performance of his hit single Happy and six YouTube artists performed over the weekend. It was indeed a good year at The Isle of Wight.
