ABC isn’t due to announce its renewals until May when the current season ends, but it seems that How To Get Away With Murder will be back for a second season.
The 2-hour season finale aired in the US on Thursday and straight after the episode a promo was shown confirming that the show will be back in the autumn for a new season. Despite the promo being shown, there has been no official confirmation that the show has been renewed.
Since it debuted last autumn, How To Get Away With Murder has emerged as one of the biggest new shows of the season. It has received widespread critical acclaim and kept viewers hooked as the central story of the murder of a college girl has unravelled.
The show stars Viola Davis as powerful attorney Annalise Keating and the cast also includes Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Liza Weil and Charlie Weber.
How To Get Away With Murder is currently on hiatus in the UK but expected to resume its first season on Universal Channel in March.
