The season two finale of Under The Dome arrives in the UK on Monday.
The last episode of the season saw the Dome begin to contract which threatened the lives of everyone in Chester’s Mill. As Melanie’s (Grace Victoria Cox) condition worsened Barbie (Mike Vogel) convinced his father to retrieve the egg to save her.
Unfortunately Melanie doesn’t seem destined to live as she was sucked into a hole when Pauline (Sherry Stringfield) thinks the key to making her better is for the 8 hands of the dome to join together with Melanie counting as two of them. Whoops!
At the end of the episode Lyle (Dwight Yoakam) stabbed Pauline. In a rage Big Jim (Dean Norris) stabbed Lyle and left him to die.
The next episode of the season is Go Now. As the Dome continues to shrink, Julia and Barbie organise a mass evacuation through a tunnel in the crater. Big Jim goes on a murderous rampage.
