Stalker arrived in the UK last night and what a tense first episode.
Focusing on the Threat Assessment Unit (TAU) in L.A. the show tells the story of Lieutenant Beth Davis (Maggie Q) and her new detective Jack Larsen (Dylan McDermott) who has transferred from New York. The first episode saw Beth and Jack investigating the murder of a young woman who seems tied to the stalking of another woman.
The episode proved to be controversial in the US but it seems no one really batted an eyelid here in the UK. Beth and Jack of course uncovered the stalker but it was a tense ride to get to the conclusion. Beth also picked up a new stalker in the shape of creepy teenage Perry (Erik Stocklin) who turned his attentions from his college room-mate to the lieutenant.
The next episode of the season is Whatever Happened to Baby James? Beth gets a surprise visit at work while investigating if a stalker was responsible for a break-in at a teenager’s home.
