Breaking Bad, Modern Family win big at Emmy Awards

The 66th Annual Emmy Awards took place last night and Breaking Bad dominated the winners for the evening.

The hit AMC show took top honours for Outstanding Drama Series as well as honouring its three lead actors Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn and Aaron Paul. Other big winners of the night included Modern Family which picked up Outstanding Comedy Series for a fifth year and Ty Burrell took home an award for his performance as Phil Dunphy.

Other winners included Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates for American Horror Story: Coven, Juliana Marguiles for The Good Wife and The Normal Heart.
