Two and a Half Men will end after its upcoming 12th season it was announced today.
CBS confirmed that the show would bow out after its new season following 12 years on air. The show originally starred Charlie Sheen until his very public sacking in 2011. When the show returned for its ninth season Ashton Kutcher joined the cast as new character Walden Schmidt.
Ashton has been with the show for 3 seasons and the 12th season will mark four years with the show. Although the ratings for the show have slipped in recent years, Two and a Half Men is still one of the top rated shows on CBS.
In other news it was also announced that CBS has passed on the How I Met Your Mother spin-off How I Met Your Dad. The show is said to be looking at other networks for a pick-up.
