One of the year’s most anticipated shows is without a doubt Showtime’s new Victorian horror series Penny Dreadful.
The show will kick off on 11th May in the US and follow shortly after in the UK on Sky Atlantic. Timothy Dalton, Eva Green and Josh Hartnett lead the star-studded cast which also includes Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, Helen McCrory, Simon Russell Beale, Anna Chancellor, Hannah Tointon, Reeve Carney and Harry Treadaway.
Penny Dreadful is set in Victorian London and sees classic fictional horror characters causing havoc including Frankenstein’s monster, Mina Harker and Dorian Gray.
