The full shortlist for this year’s British Soap Awards has been released.
This year’s awards will take place in May at London’s Hackney Empire theatre for the first time. EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors will battle it out to claim victory across 16 categories.
Six categories – Best Actor, Best Actress, Villain of the Year, Sexiest Female, Sexiest Male and Best British Soap – are all voted for by the public with the rest of the categories selected by a panel of expert judges.
