Following its recent digital release, True Detective will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on 9th June 2014 through HBO Home Entertainment.
The show was a critically-acclaimed hit on both sides of the Atlantic and aired in the UK on Sky Atlantic HD. Starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson the serial killer thriller follows the story of police partners on a sinister cast that takes place in the pits of rural Louisiana.
True Detective is created and written by The Killing’s Nic Pizzolatto and directed by Cary Fukunaga. The show also stars Michelle Monaghan, Kevin Dunn, Tory Kittles and Michael Potts.
