The Simpsons returns for 24th season

Hit animation show The Simpsons is returning to Sky 1 HD this March with a brand new series.

The Simpsons will begin its 24th series on the 24th of March with its usual Sunday night slot.

The cartoon classic looks forward to hitting more milestones and heads into another brand new season. Homer and the gang will be joined by scores of stars, the shiniest being pop phenomenon Justin Bieber, funny lady Tina Fey, comedian Steve Carrell and the UK’s very own Benedict Cumberbatch.

In the premiere, Moonshine River, Bart is reunited with The One That Got Away, following his heart all the way to New York to look for long-lost love Mary Spuckler, voiced by the adorkable Zooey Deschanel. Further in the season, Madge ponders the possibility of having another baby, much to Homie’s surprise/shock/horror, Lisa is bitten by the gambling bug and becomes addicted to online poker, and alarm bells ring when Grampa escapes the retirement home.

The Simpsons returns on March 24th on Sky 1 HD.
