Meet the new Glee characters

Get to know the four new main characters.

Glee Season 4

Glee returns for its fourth season tomorrow night at 8pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.

It’s all change this year at McKinley high as Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Finn (Cory Monteith), Puck (Mark Salling), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Santana (Naya Rivera), Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike (Harry Shum  Jr) have all graduated meaning they are no longer regulars in the school Glee club. Fear not though as a host of new characters are joining the new season to keep the Glee club going and to cause a few problems of course.

We’ve highlighted the four main new characters to introduce you to them and get you up-to-speed before the episode airs tomorrow night.

Jake

Jacob Artist

Meet McKinley High’s newest bad boy. With no Puck ruling the halls, someone had to take his place right? Jake is the younger brother of one of the former Glee club members who struggles to control his temper. His arrogance could cost him a place in the Glee club if he’s not careful.

Jake is played by Jacob Artist.

Marley

Melissa Benoist

Marley Rose is a transfer student whose mother works in the school cafeteria and is the butt of everyone’s jokes. Unpopular in her last school, Marley struggles to make friends at McKinley and she uses the Glee club to try and make new friends. What she doesn’t know is a bitchy struggle with cheerleader Kitty is on the cards as well as a potential romance.

Marley is played by Melissa Benoist.

Kitty

Becca Tobin

Move over Quinn, Kitty Wilde has taken your place and she’s twice as mean. The bitchy cheerleader is a new student to McKinley high and she thrives on her popularity. Jealous of Marley and set on dating Jake she’s prepared to do anything to get what she wants. The Glee club wouldn’t be right without a mega bitch would it?

Kitty is played by Becca Tobin.

Brody

Dean Geyer

The hunkiest of the new additions is Brody Weston. Rather than joining McKinley though, Brody is a student at NYADA and a potential new love interest for Rachel. The NYADA junior shares Rachel’s love of music but is also a good dancer. Will sparks fly? Could Brody possibly put an end to Finchel once and for all?

Brody is played by former Neighbours star Dean Geyer who was also a finalist on Australian Idol.
