Eli Young Band announces new ‘Strange Hours’ album & 55-Date tour

Country hitmakers Eli Young Band are turning the page on a new chapter with the announcement of their upcoming album ‘Strange Hours' and a massive headlining tour to match. The Texas-rooted group, known for chart-toppers and high-energy live shows, will release the 13-track album on August 1 — their first independent full-length project in years. Pre-save right here.

‘Strange Hours' marks a return to the band’s creative roots, recorded at Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas — the same studio where their debut album ‘Level' was born. Lead singer Mike Eli calls the experience “a full circle moment,” noting the stripped-back, collaborative spirit behind the album. “It was just us in the studio with our producers and a couple of old friends making music that we love,” Eli shared. “These songs are special to us, and this record is the start of a whole new chapter for EYB.”

The album will feature a mix of brand-new material and previously released favorites from their ‘Nothing On the Wild' EP, including ‘Home In Hometown,' ‘What Do Lonely People Do,' ‘I’m Yours Amen' and the title track. Fans can also expect a taste of the band’s evolving sound with new songs like ‘Strange Hours,' a sultry anthem about a black-magic romance.

Produced by Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes, and written entirely by members of the band, ‘Strange Hours' revives the band’s grassroots energy and emotional storytelling, showcasing the blend of country-rock and heartfelt lyrics that has earned them 18 RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications over their career.

To celebrate the release, Eli Young Band is also hitting the road for a 55-date Strange Hours Tour, which kicked off June 7 in Cambridge, Idaho. The tour will span coast to coast, wrapping in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and promises to bring their signature live-band fire to both new fans and longtime followers.

‘Strange Hours' is available for pre-save now and fans can pre-order signed CDs and vinyl at eliyoungband.com.
