Hot on the heels of a string of sold-out shows this summer, including a packed performance at Washington, D.C.’s The Bullpen, multi-Platinum country stars Eli Young Band have released their latest track ‘I’m Yours Amen.' The song delivers a heartfelt soundtrack for love and commitment.
Co-written by lead singer Mike Eli and Jeffrey East, the song exudes a warm, uplifting charm, blending a sunset melody with the band’s signature roots-rock sound. Eli’s soulful vocals shine as the track captures the bliss of knowing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
“When I got the idea for this song, I was napping on the couch with my head on my wife’s lap while she was binging Grey’s Anatomy,” Eli recalls. “I remember thinking, ‘This is the life!’ That moment became the inspiration for ‘I’m Yours Amen.'
Eli reflects on how the song ties to his own life: “We wanted to write a song that said everything without saying too much. I still remember my wedding day with Kacey like it was yesterday, and it’s incredible to capture that feeling in a song nearly 15 years later.”
New Music, Same Spirit
‘I’m Yours Amen' follows the earlier release of ‘Home in Hometown' in 2024, marking a fresh creative chapter for the band. Recorded at Panhandle House Studio in their hometown of Denton, Texas—also the birthplace of their breakthrough 2008 album ‘Level,' the track signals a return to their independent roots. More new music is set to roll out through 2025, bringing fans full-circle with a sound informed by two decades of experience.
Eli Young Band’s enduring appeal is underscored by their recent achievements. This summer, the group celebrated new RIAA certifications for their chart-topping album Life at Best (Platinum), their 5x Platinum smash hit Crazy Girl, and the 3x Platinum fan favourite Even If It Breaks Your Heart. With 13 million certified units in the U.S., the band has solidified its place as a country music mainstay.
On the Road with the Home in Hometown Tour
Eli Young Band is currently headlining their Home in Hometown Tour, which runs through December. The tour will conclude with a special performance at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth on December 21. Known for electrifying performances, EYB has been praised by the Associated Press as “a smart, relevant antidote” to overdone country clichés.
Having shared stages with legends like Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and Tim McGraw, Eli Young Band continues to sell out venues nationwide.
