Eli Young Band launches new era with ‘Strange Hours’ album

Eli Young Band has officially entered a new chapter with the release of ‘Strange Hours,' their first independently released album via UnLevel Records. This marks the band’s first full-length project in over three years, and it offers a refreshing blend of experience, wisdom, and musical authenticity.

With 13 tracks, all co-written by the band or long-time collaborators, ‘Strange Hours' captures the essence of a group that has transformed from small-town heroes to global chart-toppers.

Recorded in their hometown of Denton, Texas, at Panhandle House Studio—the same place where they recorded their 2005 debut album ‘Level'—the band revisits their roots while embracing newfound creative freedom. The album features tracks produced by Eric Arjes and Jimmy Robbins, with one song, ‘Bad Luck,' produced by Julian Raymond and Scott Borchetta.

Eli Young Band’s sound on ‘Strange Hours' blends their signature energy with maturity and insight gained over two decades of performing, writing, and recording. The lead single, ‘Home In Hometown,' exemplifies the band’s deep connection to their Texas roots while exploring the idea of home and belonging.

Tracks like ‘Whiskey Told Ya,' featuring Corey Kent, showcase their fun, irreverent side with a blend of humour and raw honesty. With ‘Strange Hours,' Eli Young Band continues to prove their relevance, passion, and commitment to authentic, heartfelt country music.
