Rose Glass’ (‘Saint Maud’) second feature ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ will be released by Liongate UK on 19th April 2024 it has been announced.
The romantic thriller stars Kristen Stewart (‘Spencer’), Katy O’Brian (‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’), Jena Malone (‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Donnie Darko’), Dave Franco (’21 Jump Street’) and Ed Harris (‘Apollo 13’, ‘The Hours’). It is written by Rose Glass and Weronika Tofilska and produced by Andrea Cornwell for Lobo Films and Oliver Kassman for Escape Plan Productions. The film was co-financed by A24 and Film4.
From director Rose Glass comes an electric new love story; reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.
