‘Barbie’ has dominated pop culture in 2023 thanks to the huge success of the film released earlier this year.
Just when you thought there’d be nothing else to come from the blockbuster, star Ryan Gosling (who plays Ken) has teamed up with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt to release ‘Ken The EP’. The release features three versions of the now iconic song ‘I’m Just Ken’ including ‘I’m Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie)’, the stripped ‘In My Feelings Acoustic’ version and the electric ‘Purple Disco Machine Remix’. The original version is also included.
To mark the occasion, a new performance video of Gosling along with Ronson and Wyatt, has been released where you can see them performing the song live.
Racking up over 100m worldwide streams, reaching the top 5 on Billboard’s “Hot Rock & Alternative Songs” and becoming Gosling’s official Billboard Hot 100 chart debut, ‘I’m Just Ken’ has quickly proven a cultural phenomenon as one of the indisputable highlights from the groundbreaking and star-studded ‘Barbie the Album’.
