2. ‘Angel in Disguise’
1998’s ‘Never Say Never’ is her masterpiece. It’s the album that will be forever considered her best work and with good reason. Brandy was on top of her game during this era and riding high with ‘The Boy Is Mine’ and ‘Top Of The World’. My favourite song has always been the moodier and darker ‘Angel In Disguise’, which is the album’s first proper song following the ‘Intro’. That vocal in the climax is one of Brandy’s best.
