1. Sort out Miranda
Quite honestly the most frustrating aspect of ‘And Just Like That…’ was the way that Miranda transformed into a totally different character. Always the smartest member of the group, she was reduced to a brainless idiot in the first episodes as she constantly put her foot in it and came off as an accidental racist. Things worsened when decided to have an affair with new non-binary character Che, despite previously ruling out being with women in the original series. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse, the writers made Miranda’s quest to be with Che look like a perfectly acceptable rom-com while her poor husband Steve (David Eigenberg) had his heart trampled on and life turned upside down. I’ve no idea who this Miranda is, but it’s not the character I loved for six seasons and two movies.
