4. Bring back the humour (and sex)

I get it, the first season was about Carrie's grief after Big's (Chris Noth) death but the first half of the season had pretty much no laughs at all. It was so heavy in parts, that it was a slog to get through. The final few episodes started to recapture the feel of ‘Sex and the City' and the humour slowly crept back in, but the sex was almost non-existent – aside from Miranda and Che (Sara Ramirez) and an awkward scene with Nya (Karen Pittman) and her husband Andre (LeRoy McClain). Carrie is single now and on her way to embarking on a steamy fling with her podcast producer Franklyn (Ivan Hernandez) and Miranda is exploring her sexuality so surely there'll be more sex and light-hearted shenanigans to come?
