3. Flesh out supporting characters better

‘And Just Like That…' went to pains to bring in new characters of colour, but it did very little to make them feel like three dimensional characters. Pairing each of the original characters with a non-white counterpart may have looked good on paper but the execution was sloppy. Karen Pittman (Nya), Nicole Arie Parker (Lisa Todd Wexley) and Sarita Choudhury (Seema) all deserved much better material and were hugely under-used. On the opposite end of the spectrum, it felt like Che was given far too much screen time and while I love Sara Ramirez, I'm afraid I'm with the majority of ‘And Just Like That…' viewers who wished the character would disappear.
