6. Obie to get out of the middle of Julien and Zoya, and to redeem himself
Obie is a real piece of work isn’t he? Entitled, spoiled and with no grasp on how his behaviour impacts on others, the character has been a constant source of frustration during season 1. When he’s not flitting between Zoya and Julien, and ruining their chance of building a sisterly bond, Obie is completely tone deaf about how his privilege has afforded him a life he simultaneously takes advantage of and fights against. I don’t want to see him continuing to move between Zoya and Julien – he’s done enough damage. In season 2 I think he should learn what accountability means and become a better person.
