James Morrison to release reworked ‘Greatest Hits’ album in February

James Morrison will release his greatest hits in a reworked new collection on 11th February 2022 it has been announced

Arriving before his ‘Greatest Hits’ tour, which kicks off in March 2022, Morrison will release a twist on the usual ‘Greatest Hits’ collection. He returned to the studio with long-time producer Mark Taylor to record new version of thirteen of his classic songs alongside his live band.

MorrisonĀ commented,Ā ā€œItā€™s been fifteen years since I started releasing music, and many of my songs over time have taken on a new life of their own: new emotions, new meanings and new feels both from the way I perform them and in the way my band has played them. Iā€™ve also become a better singer and inhabit the songs in a different way now.Ā
Ā
I wanted to reflect all of that on this ā€˜Greatest Hitsā€™ with reworked versions. I love all the original recordings They brought me to where I am today, but I see these new versions as their older siblings, and I really love them too. Iā€™m so pleased with what we achieved here.ā€

The collection features his new single ‘Who’s Gonna Love Me Now’, which marries rugged soul and Motown vibes with thumping beats.

ā€˜Greatest Hitsā€™Ā is now available to pre-order now.Ā Morrisonā€™sĀ official website offers signed copies of the album on CD and cassette, as well as a signed printed lyric sheet.

There are also a selection of bundles compiling your choice of those three items as well as a new t-shirt design.Ā HMVĀ offer an exclusive CD which adds two bonus tracks, while an exclusive signedĀ AmazonĀ version of the album on CD and cassette is also available.Ā Ā
