Ensure rooms are complete
You may not know this but a fully completed room will offer better mood bonuses to your villagers. This doesn’t simply mean four walls and a roof though as rooms are specialised and need to include certain furniture items whilst excluding others.
There is a room tab towards the top left of the screen that allows you to view completed rooms and also what you need to ensure the room is correct. For example, a church needs to include at least one altar and two wall decorations from the right faith on top of having four walls, a door and a roof. It cannot include anything from the other faith or a whole list of other items.
