8. ‘Closer’ (2010)
‘Aphrodite’ for me is one of Kylie’s best albums (and certainly the accompanying tour ‘Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour’ is her finest) and it’s a shame none of the singles matched the number 1 success of ‘All The Lovers’. One song that might have performed well was ‘Closer’, a highlight of her live set at the time, thanks to its urgent shimmering melody and some lovely soaring vocals from Kylie.
