Psychological thriller Unsane, starring Claire Foy (The Crown), arrives on Digital Download on 16th July 2018 followed by a DVD release on 23rd July 2018.
Directed by Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh (Erin Brockovich), Unsane tells the story of a woman fighting to reclaim her freedom and risking her sanity in order to do so. The film also stars Joshua Leonard (The Blair Witch Project), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live), Juno Temple (Maleficent), Aimee Mullins (Stranger Things) and Amy Irving (Carrie).

Unsane tells the story of a young woman (Claire Foy) who leaves her hometown to escape a troubled past and begin a new job. When she is involuntarily committed to a mental institution, she is confronted by her greatest fear but is it real or just her delusion? With seemingly no-one ready to believe her and the authorities unable or unwilling to help, she must confront her fears head on.
The film was shot entirely using an iPhone 7 Plus and that’s the focus of special feature Unsanity, which allows fans to truly immerse themselves in the heart-pounding, claustrophobic, thought-provoking experience in the comfort of their own home.
Unsane features a screenplay by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer. The film premiered at Berlin International Film Festival back in February. It is Soderbergh’s first film since 2017’s Logan Lucky.
