A brand new trailer has arrived for the star-studded Mile 22.
Directed by Peter Berg, the film stars Mark Wahlberg (All the Money in the World, Patriots Day, Deepwater Horizon), Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), John Malkovich, WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey (Fast and Furious 7) and The Raid’s Iko Uwais.
Berg has worked with Wahlberg before on Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day.
Mile 22 features a script by Graham Roland and Lea Carpenter.

An elite American intelligence officer, aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of the country.
Also appearing in the supporting cast of Mile 22 are Terry Kinney, Sala Baker, Poorna Jagannathan, Alexandra Vino Alexandra Vino, Lauren Mary Kim, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Raven Wynn, Sam Medina, Michael Pierino Miller and Carlo Alban.
The film looks to be a real winner, and the dream team of Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg hasn’t delivered a dud movie yet.
The trailer is jam-packed full of amazing action set-pieces and it seems to really utilise its cast well. It’s amazing to see Ronda Rousey back in a mainstream action movie, especially since her current run in the WWE is going over great with the fans.
Lauren Cohan looks bad-ass in this and seems to play a key figure in Mark Wahlberg’s unit. John Malkovich can do these roles in his sleep and is always worth your time and attention.
But the trailer’s highlight comes from The Raid’s Iko Uwais. Uwais has been THE name in martial arts for years and after his success in The Raid franchise, he looks to be finally making his proper entrance to western cinema (not counting his great cameo with his fellow The Raid allumni in Star Wars: The Force Awakens)!
22 Mile is set to open in cinemas across the country on 31st August 2018.
