Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) returned to the Sanctuary on the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
Upon his return he asserted his control of the Saviors and he took Simon (Steven Ogg) to task over what happened with Jadis’ (Pollyanna McIntosh) people. Negan started a fight with Simon and he strangled him to death in front of the other Saviors.
Negan also discovered that Dwight (Austin Amelio) was working against him and informing Rick (Andrew Lincoln) of the Saviors plans. He misled Dwight to send incorrect information back to Rick using Gregory (Xander Berkeley) and confronted Dwight.

Meanwhile Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) captured Eugene (Josh McDermitt) but he managed to escape and return to the Saviors.
Elsewhere Michonne (Danai Gurira) read Carl’s (Chandler Riggs) letter to Negan and found out that Negan still planned to kill everyone.
The season finale is Wrath. In the season finale, the communities join forces in the last stand against the Saviors. The season’s story lines culminate in all out war.
