Red tips off the task force about a murderous band of vigilantes.

The task force turned to a former arsonist to help catch a murderer on the latest episode of The Blacklist.

Former priest Tommy Wattles (Michael Rogers) was committing arson to kill women that he believed were tempting his sexual desires. After meeting a young woman in a bar, Wattles kidnapped her but was prevented from killing her when Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Samar (Mozhan Marno) caught him.

They didn’t manage to take him in to custody as Wattles set himself on fire and committed suicide before they got chance.

Meanwhile Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader) asked a teenage boy for help trying to locate Tom’s (Ryan Eggold) killers using the artificial eye Liz recovered after killing Navarro (Happy Anderson).

Their investigation led Tom’s killers right to them but they managed to escape unscathed. Liz tackled Red on his constant lies and vowed to him that she would find out his secret.

The next episode of the season is The Invisible Hand. There’s a big revelation as Liz continues to investigate Tom’s killers. Red tips off the task force about a murderous band of vigilantes.
