Barry (Grant Gustin) adjusted to being in prison on the latest episode of The Flash meaning that Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) had to step up.

In prison Barry was approached by Axel Walker (Devon Graye) aka The Trickster who wanted to become friends. Barry rebuffed the offer and later Axel was broken out of prison by his mother Zoey Clark (Corinne Bohrer) aka Prank.

Ralph went after Axel and Zoey but panicked when he was injured and had to be rescued by Cisco (Carlos Valdes). He tried to break Barry out of prison but Barry insisted that Ralph could step up and be a hero.

When Cisco and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) were kidnapped, Ralph (kitted out in a new suit) turned up to save the day. With Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) help, Ralph managed to stop them.

Elsewhere Cisco and Ralph met a girl who was last seen at Barry’s wedding. It was revealed that she was writing in the language that Barry was using when he was rescued from the Speed Force.

The next episode of the season is Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash. Ralph and Cisco get caught in the path of a meta with amazing shrinking powers. Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) unnerves Joe (Jesse L. Martin) with a strange new ability.
