The Wandering Hearts sign to Decca

The Wandering Hearts have signed a record deal with Decca Records it has been announced.

The group will release their debut single Wish I Could on 5th May 2017. The Wandering Hearts were discovered within half an hour of uploading their first demo online, which led to their major label deal.

Mixing folk and Americana into their music, The Wandering Hearts – AJ, Chess, Tim and Tara – keep their British roots at the heart of their music. Their harmonies and pop sensibility has seen them compared to Fleetwood Mac.

The Wandering Hearts say, ā€œTara and Tim met at a gig and were introduced soon after to AJ and Chess through mutual friends. Something between us all just clicked ā€“ we felt we had stumbled onto something special. We started writing together as a band and quickly developed The Wandering Hearts sound: a truthful lyric and lots of harmonies.ā€

Earlier this year the band performed at C2C: Country to Country Festival at The O2 Arena in London and supported Brothers Osborne on their sold-out headline date.

The Wandering Hearts are currently working on their album with producer Pete Hammerton.

Upcoming live dates for the band are:

29th April ā€“ Live at Leeds
18th May ā€“ The Great Escape
2nd June ā€“ Red Rooster
10th June ā€“ Bushstock
8th July ā€“ Cornbury
30 July ā€“ Standon Calling
