The team travelled to April 3rd, 1882 on the latest episode of Timeless.

Flynn (Goran Višnjić) saved Jesse James (Daniel Lissing) from being murdered in order to get his help finding someone within Indian territory. Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) enlisted the help of U.S. Marshals Bass Reeves (Colman Domingo) and Grant Johnson (Zahn McClarnon) to track Flynn and James.

Rufus discovered that Wyatt planned to kill Jesse James himself and Flynn stumbled upon Emma Whitmore (Annie Wersching), a former time machine pilot who stranded herself in the 19th century to escape from Rittenhouse.

A shootout ensued with Jesse James who shot and killed Johnson. Wyatt and Lucy killed Jesse before they returned to the present day.

Elsewhere in the episode Wyatt visited his wife’s murderer in prison, Lucy had a nightmare about her sister and Rufus found out that Jiya (Claudia Doumit) was going to replace him as the Lifeboat pilot in six months.

Jiya became suspicious of Mason (Paterson Joseph) and she hacked secret video logs but was caught out. Rufus informed Mason and Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) that Emma was still alive and Wyatt asked Rufus to steal the Lifeboat so they could save his wife.

The next episode of the season is Karma Chameleon. Wyatt and Rufus go rogue by traveling back to the 1980s in a desperate bid to save Jessica’s life. Lucy covers for them in the present as Agent Christopher discovers the ship is missing.
