M’gann (Sharon Leal) was pulled into the spotlight when her former mate Armek (Terrell Tilford) arrived to take her back to Mars for execution on the latest episode of Supergirl.

J’onn (David Harewood) insisted on protecting M’gann and brought her to the DEO to keep her safe. What he didn’t realise is that it wasn’t really M’gann and it was actually Armek in disguise. When the real M’gann arrived, J’onn put the DEO into lockdown and Armek disguised himself as Winn (Jeremy Jordan).

As Supergirl put everyone through their paces to prove they were who they said they were, Armek was once again revealed and another White Martian disguised itself as Alex (Chyler Leigh). The team battled against time after Armek initiated a meltdown in the building’s core reactor.

J’onn and M’gann found the real Winn and Alex and confronted Armek, killing him in the process. Alex subdued the other martian and Winn stopped the reactor from exploding.

M’gann decided to go back to her home planet in order to reform her people and said goodbye to J’onn.

Elsewhere in the episode Kara was upset when Alex made plans with Maggie (Floriana Lima) on the 13th anniversary of her arrival on Earth. Kara also rebuffed Mon-El’s (Chris Wood) advances but decided to ask him out on Alex’s advice only to find he’d already moved on.

The next episode of the season is Luthors. Kara fights to clear Lena’s name when police blame her for Metallo’s escape.
