Bones is back for its 11th and penultimate season. The Emmy Award winning series arrives on DVD from 7th November 2016, courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The 11th season of Bones picks up with Booth, Brennan, daughter Christine and the new baby ostensibly living a dream life, a world away from the murder-filled life left behind just six months ago.
But a case with close personal ties to the couple compels Brennan to become involved in the forensic analysis of the remains, and Booth mysteriously goes missing, prompting an FBI investigation into his whereabouts. In a special BONES and Sleepy Hollow crossover episode, the grisly discovery of a headless corpse in a church during Halloween leads Sleepy Hollow’s FBI agent Abbie Mills and Ichabod Crane to team up with Brennan and Booth after discovering there is a link with to their current murder investigation regarding a medical student.
Emily Deschanel (Spider-Man 2, Cold Mountain) is back as Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan, a forensic anthropologist and wife of FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth played by David Boreanaz (Buffy, Angel). They are joined by returning cast members; Michaela Conlin (Law & order, Enchanted) as forensic artist Angela Montenegro; Tamara Taylor (Lost, Serenity) as Dr. Camille Saroyan, a forensic pathologist; T. J. Thyne (Erin Brockovich, Angel) as forensic chemist, Dr. Jack Hodgins and John Boyd (Argo,24) as James Aubrey, an FBI agent who works under Booth.
