Glitzy entertainment venue Viva Blackpool has launched a search for a support act to perform on the same bill as Britain’s Got Talent’s Jonathan Antoine on 20th May 2016.
The lucky winner will be selected by Jonathan once the closing date for video auditions has passed. Any act wishing to be in the running for this prize needs to submit a video to Viva Blackpool, showing themselves performing and showcasing their talent at its best.
Videos need to be submitted by 5pm on 10th May via a link on the homepage of www.vivablackpool.com. Jonathan will then judge all videos, with the Viva team, on May 11 and three finalists will be announced. Videos can be in any standard format and no more than three minutes long.
The finalists’ videos will be put up for a public vote to determine the winner. The vote will run from 11th May to 15th May on the Viva Blackpool website and the winner will be announced on the 15th May.
Viva Blackpool’s managing director, Martin Heywood, says: “Jonathan Antoine has appeared on stage with global stars including Placido Domingo, Vittorio Grigolo and Joss Stone and he will now be sharing a stage, for one night only, with the winner of this very special contest, who will perform ahead of Jonathan’s 120-minute show.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an ambitious act to showcase their talent, not just at Viva on May 20, but also online, as members of the public cast their votes. The exposure this alone provides makes it something every act should consider, if they truly believe they have what it takes.”
