Adele announces 2016 UK and European tour

Adele has announced plans to tour in support of her new album 25 in 2016.

It will be the singer’s first tour in 4 years and tickets will be on general sale from 9am on 1st December 2015. The UK and Irish leg of the tour will include dates in Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham.

European dates will include Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Herning, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Zurich, Lisbon, Barcelona, Verona, Amsterdam, Paris and Antwerp.

Since the release of 25 on Friday Adele has been breaking records all over the world. In the UK she has sold over 737,000 in 6 days and has overtaken Oasis’ record breaking first week sales of Be Here Now in 1997. In the US she has sold nearly 3 million copies of the album best N’Sync’s 2000 record sales of 2,416,000 for No Strings Attached.

UK tickets on General Sale will be available from 9.00am GMT on Friday 4th December. All info will be on Adele.com. European tickets on General Sale will be available from 9.00am GMT on Friday 4th December with the exception of Barcelona which will go on sale on Thursday 3rd December at 9am GMT.
