Adele announces her first European shows since 2016

Adele, the internationally acclaimed superstar, has officially confirmed a series of exclusive summer shows in Munich, Germany, scheduled for the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th of August 2024. The unique performances will take place at Munich Messe, featuring a specially designed open-air environment catering to 80,000 fans per night, with a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas.

Expressing her excitement about the bespoke pop-up stadium, Adele shared on her Instagram, “A one-off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer.” These shows mark Adele’s return to mainland Europe for the first time since 2016.

Currently in the midst of her highly praised Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, running through mid-June, Adele has garnered acclaim for the exquisite blend of personal storytelling and Las Vegas glitz. The Los Angeles Times describes it as “an exquisite balance,” while Billboard calls it “utterly and breathlessly spectacular.” By the end of its run, Adele will have completed an impressive 50 Weekends With Adele dates, totaling 100 shows. Her iconic sold-out London Hyde Park performances in 2022 were hailed as truly memorable experiences, and she is now set to bring a brand-new show to her European fans.
