Bones renewed by FOX for season 11

Hit procedural Bones will be back for an 11th season this autumn it has been confirmed.

Currently in its 10th season, the long-running show has been confirmed to return following new deals with lead actors David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. Both stars have expressed a desire to continue the series, and despite falling ratings it seems the network has given the show its full support.

Season 10 of the show is currently airing on both sides of the Atlantic with several episodes still left to air.

Bones has been a cornerstone of FOX in the US since it debuted back in 2005. The series is loosely based on Kathy Reichs’ Temperance Brennan novels. It airs on Sky Living HD in the UK.
