Olivia Somerlyn has released her new single Parachute, co-written with Nick Jonas.
Parachute is an exploration of the ups and downs of a relationship. You can watch the video for the track at the top of this article.
Olivia explains, “.. to me the song is about letting go of a relationship even though that means letting go of the ‘highest highs’ that the ‘Parachute’ is going to bring you up to – because you know it’s just going to push you down again to the ‘lowest lows’. It’s about letting go and making it your decision.”
Nick Jonas added, “I had a great time working on this song with Olivia ….I love that the song has this emotional pull while still feeling upbeat and high energy.”
Recently Olivia supported Meghan Trainor on her UK tour where she entertained and impressed the crowds. Parachute is available to buy from digital retailers now.
