Keanu Reeves confirmed that there is a third Bill & Ted movie in the works during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Due to air tonight, Keanu stops by the show to promote his forthcoming film John Wick. Jonathan asks Keanu if there’s any truth to the rumours surrounding a third instalment of the cult series.
Keanu revealed, āYes, they want to do that, the writers wrote a script which is a really cool idea and Alex Winter and I – Alex played Bill, I played Ted – so weāre trying to get it made.ā He insisted it wasnāt an easy process though, āNo man, show business itās tough, putting a movie together is tough, weāve got high hopes for it.ā
During the interview Keanu also admitted that he thought his hit movie Speed was strange. He explained, āI thought it was so utterly completely ridiculous and I loved that guy, I loved Jack Traven and he wanted to be a hero, he was a guy, a cop who wanted to save the day and I liked that about himā¦ Itās insane!ā
The Jonathan Ross Show airs tonight at 9.25pm on ITV.
