A new teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming third season of Bates Motel.
The 30 second teaser features Norman (Freddie Highmore) and Norma (Vera Farmiga) as the camera rotates around them in various locations. The two characters eventually blur into one highlighting Norman’s descent into madness and his mother’s controlling influence.
The end of the second season of the show saw Norman pass a lie detector test alarming his mother and his brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) who knew that he was guilty. The episode marked a progression in Norman’s personality disorder as he couldn’t separate truth and lies.
The new season of Bates Motel will kick off in the US on 9th March on A&E. A UK date for the season hasn’t been confirmed but it’s expected to be close to the US transmission.
