Dylan (Max Thieriot) arrived back in town on the latest episode of Bates Motel.

Following his brutal murder of Sam Loomis (Austin Nichols), Norman (Freddie Highmore) turned to Mother (Vera Farmiga) for help in disposing a body. At the lake where he’d been hiding his evil deeds, Norman saw the police pulling a body out.

After getting rid of Sam’s car, Norman learned that Sheriff Greene (Brooke Smith) had found the body of Jim Blackwell along with several others. In a panic Norman buried Norma’s corpse in the woods.

Dylan’s return caused more problems for Norman when his brother found out that his therapist had been missing for over a year, despite Norman claiming to have seen him recently. Bumping into Madeleine (Isabelle McNally), Dylan started to grow concerned about Norman after learning that Sam was missing.

During a meal between the two brothers, Mother took over Norman and hit Dylan over the head with a glass. Dylan witnessed Norman battling between his two personalities until Norman took over once again and called 911 to confess to Sam’s murder.

The next episode of the season is The Body. Mother uses tough love to protect Norman and Sheriff Greene opens a murder investigation.
