The X Factor 2014’s Fleur East talks All About That Bass

The singer talks about why she chose the song for her first performance.

The X Factor Songbook is released today featuring 3 CDs with 60 tracks that have been sung by contestants on the show.

The collection includes songs that have been performed in the 2014 series including the smash hit number one All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor which Fleur East sang in the first live show of the series.

Talking about why she picked the song Fleur revealed, “I chose it because it was so new, it felt fresh and current and I wanted to come into the live shows with a bang doing something that hadn’t been done before.”

Remembering her week 1 performance Fleur explained, “It felt amazing, it was like I was going out to perform my own track. I loved it!”

Other artists featured on The X Factor Songbook include Beyoncé, Adele, Amy Winehouse and Michael Bublé and phenomenal X Factor alumni Ella Henderson, Olly Murs and One Direction. The compilation is available to buy as a CD or digital download now at http://smarturl.it/XFSongbook_AMZ.
