Modern Family continued its sixth season in the UK last night as the Dunphys accompanied Alex (Ariel Winter) to a college campus tour.
Whilst Alex soaked up the atmosphere and tried to make her own decisions, Claire (Julie Bowen) tried to force her own ambitions onto her daughter. Phil (Ty Burrell), Luke (Nolan Gould) and Haley (Sarah Hyland) kept themselves amused by mistakenly thinking they were being tested not to push a button as they wait for an experiment they signed up for.
Elsewhere in the episode Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) tried to take a new family portrait with Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) but were disturbed by her smile, and Jay’s (Ed O’Neill) attempts to try something different for his anniversary with Gloria (Sofia Vergara) fell flat.
The next episode of the season is The Cold. Phil tries to cover his tracks while editing Mitch and Cam’s wedding video. Plus, ‘manny’ Andy (guest star Adam DeVine) is welcomed back into the fold.
