Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) confirmed that Maggie (Kelly McCreary) is indeed her half-sister in the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
As Meredith came to grips with that realisation Richard (James Pickens Jr) found the courage to tell Maggie that he is her father but it didn’t quite go to plan. She already knew and instead of embracing him she reacted angrily and stormed off.
Elsewhere Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) battled over being the Chief of Neurosurgery, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) putting her career first cast doubt once again over having another baby with Callie (Sara Ramirez), and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) won the seat on the board leaving Alex (Justin Chambers) without a job.
The next episode of the season is Only Mama Knows. In a series of flashbacks, Meredith and Richard come to terms with their past relationships with Ellis.
