Gemma Hayes has unveiled the audio for new single Chasing giving fans the first taster of her new album Bones + Longing.
Chasing is a slice of beautiful beat-driven singer-songwriter magic that showcases Gemma at her best. Her gorgeous vocals float over the melody and the track leaves you wanting more. You can listen to the track at the bottom of this article.
Gemma was Mercury Prize nominated for her debut, Night On My Side, in 2002, and won the Meteor award in Ireland for The Roads Don’t Love You in 2006. She formed her own label (GH music, now Chasing Dragons) to self-release Hollow Of Morning in 2008 and Let It Break (2011).
Bones + Longing will be released on 17th November and was produced by longtime collaborator David Odlum.
