Tyrant passed the halfway point last night with its latest episode which saw tensions rise between Barry (Adam Rayner) and Jamal (Ashraf Barhom).
The two brothers came to blows over how to handle the uprising at the Plaza and Barry appealed to Sheik Rashid (Mohammad Bakri), the opposition leader, to come out of hiding and try to make a peace agreement.
Elsewhere in the episode Nusrat (Sibylla Deen) pleaded with her parents to get Jamal to agree to let her divorce his son Ahmeed (Cameron Gharaee). Jamal used violence to make sure that Nusrat accepted her marriage and didn’t reveal the secret that he raped her.
The next episode of the season is What the World Needs Now. Barry convinces Jamal to meet with exiled opposition leader Sheik Rashid. But when the meeting takes a turn for the worse, Jamal is forced to make a difficult decision.
