The mystery deepened, literally, in the latest episode of Under The Dome.
Barbie (Mike Vogel) and Sam (Eddie Cahill) got stuck in the underground tunnels following an explosion accidentally set off by Junior (Alexander Koch). Whilst they were trapped together the two got to know one another better and Barbie realised that Sam was the person who killed Angie (Britt Robertson). According to Sam he has to kill all of the kids and was following the journal of Junior’s mother. Before Barbie could stop him, Sam threw himself off a ledge and into a pit of darkness.
Elsewhere the town stayed in doors whilst a storm passed and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) and Joe (Colin Ford) finally put their differences aside following a spate of arguments since the arrival of Melanie (Grace Victoria Cox). It also turned out that Melanie could take Angie’s place as one of the four who could connect to communicate with the Dome.
The next episode of the season is Going Home. Barbie discovers a new world when he descends further into the mysterious tunnel to look for Sam. The new place is familiar, but filled with unanswered questions.
