ABC has started to announce which of its shows are getting renewals and which new series are being picked up.
Over night the news started to trickle through with long-time series Once Upon a Time, Castle, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Revenge and Modern Family all getting new season pick-ups. Of the networks new shows Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Resurrection and The Goldbergs also received new season renewals.
Notably missing from the renewal list are Nashville, Trophy Wife, The Neighbors and Suburgatory whose fates are still hanging in the balance.
ABC also announced that it has picked up 9 new series for its fall schedule. These are:
- American Crime
- Black-ish
- Forever
- Galavant
- How To Get Away With Murder
- Manhattan Love Story
- Marvel’s Agent Carter
- Selfie
- The Whispers
Of those new shows the most-buzzed about are Shonda Rhimes’ (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) How To Get Away With Murder starring Viola Davis and Marvel’s Agent Carter which picks up the story of Hayley Atwell’s Captain America character making it the second Marvel show on the network.
