BBC One has announced more casting for new drama series The Secrets made by Working Title TV.
Joanne Froggatt, Ben Chaplin and Emilia Fox will star alongside each other in an episode written by Elinor Cook. The Secrets is a series of five standalone filmes each supporting new writing talent.
It was previously announced that Olivia Colman, alison Steadman and Steve Oram would be starring in the first of two episodes written by Nick Payne while Ashley Walters is confirmed to star in the second.
Sarah Solemani will star in her own self-written film and Helen Baxendale, Anthony Welsh and Paige Meade will star in an episode by Ben Ockrent.
Juliette Howell, Head of Television, Working Title Television says: “I’m thrilled that Dominic has assembled such a stellar line up. It’s hugely exciting to see so many of our finest actors bringing these original and distinctive new voices to life on BBC One.”
All five films are directed by BAFTA award-winning Dominic Savage. The Secrets is expected to air on BBC One later this year.
